“The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.” – Titleist Performance Institute

PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT

Increase your club speed and drive distance by optimising the way your body moves and improving your ability to generate power.

What is the Body-Swing™ Connection?

The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Body-Swing Connection allows us to identify the relationship between your body’s physical capabilities and errors in your golf swing.

In order to be able to generate power and swing efficiently, your body needs to have a balance of mobility, strength, endurance and muscular control.

Using the TPI physical assessment we can identify faulty stability patterns and mobility restrictions. We can relate your physical capabilities to errors in your golf swing that could be affecting your power, accuracy or increasing your risk of injury.

How will it help your golf game?

The results of your physical screen will be used to create a unique plan specifically for you. The plan might include any or all of the following:

  • Treatment of any acute or chronic golf injuries.

  • Restoring normal mobility and retraining correct stability patterns.

  • Discussion with your golf coach who can modify your swing to suit what your body is physically capable of.

  • Slow-motion video analysis of your golf swing, identifying faulty swing mechanics with the potential to cause an injury.

  • A golf-specific injury prevention, mobility or strength & conditioning program based on your needs and personal goals.
